Manufacturing Supervisor, (Process) Team Leader

Scope of Position:
Responsible for executing the Manufacturing Operational Plan through achieving established quality, cost, delivery, morale and safety/environmental objectives. Oversee/coordinate product throughput in all process areas from machining through assembly, prioritizing production schedules based on customer requirements, equipment efficiency, and materials supply.
Position reports to the Operations Manager.
Day to Day
Responsibilities:
Coordinate product throughput with other process team leaders.
Execute operating plan to achieve team objectives.
Provide immediate supervision to subordinates to execute assignments using established guidelines, procedures, and policies.
Review team performance with team members at regular intervals.
Build effective relations with plant support groups.
Conduct hourly/direct labor employee performance reviews and provide coaching as needed.
Ensure team executes documented operating procedures and follows established document control protocols.
Ensure the protection of Cornings Intellectual Property (IP).
Implement and monitor training and certification plans.
Hold reports accountable for adherence to established procedures and set points for process control; ensures awareness and compliance to changes.
Travel Requirements:
Less than 10%
Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:
8 am - 4 pm core hours, flex based on business needs
Required Education:
Bachelors of Science (Engineering degree preferred)

Experience:
1 year of work experience in a manufacturing environment
