The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides assistance to residents with activities of daily living, such as hygiene, toileting, feeding, moving safely to activities or functions, and caring for the resident's environment, including laundry and housekeeping.
The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED and a current certification as a Nursing Assistant in Arizona. He or she must have a genuine desire to work with the elderly or disabled and prior experience is preferred. Effective oral and written skills, empathy and the ability to listen, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.
Double-weekend and over night shifts are available for this position.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
