Job Description:


  • Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors.
  • Perform market research, construct RFQ's, evaluates vendor quotes, conduct price analysis and negotiations, compile compliance packages, and execute Purchase Orders in accordance with FAR/DFARS regulations.
  • This role will work in Client applications such as Team Center, DexCenter, SAP, etc. Requires 2 years of experience in supply chain or related field and must have knowledge of FAR/DFARS regulations and has purchasing experience using SAP (RFQ Creation, Running requisition reports, PO Creation).
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.
  • Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Buy government end use parts.
  • Place purchase orders for FAR15 requirements
  • Support Government clients
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities.
  • Adhere to FAR/FDAR regulations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
