Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized part-time receptionist to join our law firm; we specialize in criminal defense and plaintiff's personal injury cases.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk, greeting clients, and providing administrative support to our legal team.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner Answer and screen incoming phone calls, directing them to the appropriate staff member Schedule and manage appointments for attorneys and clients Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages Scan and digitize legal documents and correspondence Maintain a clean and organized reception area Screen potential new clients on the phone and gather necessary information Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred 1-2 years of experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a legal setting Excellent people skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Word Familiarity with legal terminology is a plus Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Professional demeanor and appearance Spanish proficiency not required, but is a plus
