Animal Hospital is a AAHA accredited, small, private 3 Doctor practice looking to hire a confident, happy, highly driven individual to our team as a kennel assistant/ veterinary assistant with room to grow into a more challenging role as you progress within our team! You will work side by side with our doctors and other team members with on the job training and your duties would include; taking care of all animals that are cared for in clinic, work alongside the team to start, finish and care for pets during treatments, general janitorial tasks, walking pets, taking radiographs, drawing blood, placing catheters, giving vaccines and following the orders of the Veterinarians and assisting in executing pet care.
Our ideal candidate has previous experience or an interest in the veterinary field as a whole, and the desire potentially further pursue a career in the field.
There is a strong possibility that the right person will be trained for advanced skills and positions.
We use Shepherd software and use of Office such as Word and Google services such as Drive (Gmail, calendar etc) is recommended but not required as you will learn these skills in the clinic.
