6K a year Duties - Manage day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient production - Oversee a team of shop employees, providing guidance, training, and support as needed - Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely completion of projects - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary - Maintain a safe and clean working environment - Troubleshoot and resolve any production issues that may arise Experience - Experience operating a forklift and other machinery used in the shop - Strong machining skills, including the ability to operate manual and CNC machines - Basic math skills for measurements and calculations - Familiarity with Fanuc controls for machine programming and operation - Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate parts - Experience in assembly and fabrication processes This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Please note that this is not an entry-level position.
Previous experience in a similar role is required.
