We specialize in Men's Health and Hormone Replacement Therapy.
Our small practice is unique in many aspects, we are family-owned, a husband & wife team who truly believes in a work-life balance.
We also get to see our patients weekly for their hormone injection therapy.
This allows the staff the opportunity to build rapport with their patients and to participate in their transformation to an optimal self! We expanded to a second location off 83rd and Union Hills in May and are looking to open this clinic additional days of the week.
We are looking for one part-time medical Assistant that is cross-trained in the front and back office.
We have built a strong team that is enjoyable to work with and are looking for the right fit to join us.
About Optimal Men's Center:
Optimal Men's Center provides primary care and specializes in both Testosterone Replacement and Peptide Therapies, as well as correcting other hormonal imbalances.
Medical Assistant Front Office job duties:
Insurance eligibility verification prior to appointments, verify co-pay, co-insurance, and deductibles, obtain prior authorizations, and complete medical records requests Schedule new and established patient appointments, register walk-in patients Checking-in patients Assist patients with portal registration and access.
All lab results are provided through patient portal therefore it is mandatory to have this completed on all patients Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times Answer phones Check voicemails, marketing leads, follow up with all phone and patient portal messages Collect and process patient payments Communicates with all staff and medical provider in a respectful manner.
Maintain professionalism at all times in front of patients, contractors, and vendors Other duties Medical Assistant Back office job duties:
Obtain accurate vitals, recognize if vitals are out of range, repeat if abnormal to verify accuracy.
Follow protocols for the abnormal vitals and inform provider immediately Be proficient in phlebotomy, training will be provided if needed, collect specimens and process as indicated Perform Injections intramuscular and subcutaneous Maintain HIPAA at all times Works independently and uses critical thinking skills to solve issues under pressure Communicates with all staff and medical provider in a respectful manner.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
