Looking for a Medical Assistant who is ready to work, can learn quickly, and can perform the following tasks independently Draw up medications that will be administered either SQ or IM, and administer SQ and IM injections.
Be able to accurately read vital signs and patient weights, BMI, and discuss thoughts and plans for unified and successful weight loss.
Perform Front Desk duties such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, completing transactions with patients' cash or card.
Familiarize with and execute charting with CHARM EHR(we will train) Additionally the medical assistant may be the first person to come in contact with potential clients.
This function allows for discussing weight loss program options with the client and helping to determine which pathway will be best for the client to meet the desired weight goal.
Experiene in weight management a plus, but not mandatory.
We will provide on the job training.
Sit down with clients to identify his or her weight loss challenges and goal.
Discuss program options with the client that will be realistic and appropriate for him or her to achieve the weight loss goal identified Meeting with clients weekly to adjust the weight loss plan and revise strategies as appropriate.
