Duties encompass all bookkeeping responsibilities, including:
payment acceptance, daily business reconciliation, billing, collections, payables and receivables, financial statement preparation assistance.
Candidates must possess ability to work on their own and take initiative to manage and resolve daily challenges.
Responsibilities:
Reconciliation of daily business in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and validity of all relevant information.
Processing of credit cards and other payments, updating corresponding records and reconciling accounts.
Calculating and processing weekly payroll and monthly State Sales Tax.
Accounting and management of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Collections.
All banking and reconciliation duties.
Sorting and managing of business correspondence, in a timely manner.
Assisting CPA with Financial Statements, reporting and journal entries.
Assisting with incoming call management, when necessary.
Filing of various paperwork and keeping office organized.
Position Requirements:
Proficiency in QuickBooks, MS Office, Excel (5 yr.
min.
).
Thorough understanding of office management procedures.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity.
Must maintain a high level of personal appearance and conduct.
Ability to jump in and figure things out.
Website / Social Media knowledge is a plus.
