In this role, you will report directly to the Director of the Global Trade Solutions Division, and you will be responsible for managing, developing, and implementing Foreign Trade Zones on behalf of our clients.
How you will be successful Operational oversight over teams including the below areas:
Daily FTZ ICRS Processing Monitor inventory and ensure proper reporting Review data & documentation daily to ensure accuracy In-bond filing Export clearance filing Invoicing Recordkeeping Act as a subject matter expert and primary resource for Foreign Trade Zones Ensure accuracy of all activity under 19CFR, 15CFR and other regulatory requirements Team management and leadership development Liaise with U.

CBP as necessary, including the facilitation of visits & requests On-site client interaction and relationship building Troubleshooting discrepancies and continuous improvement, as necessary Preparation of required reports to U.
S.
Customs & the FTZ Board Internal documentation of processes Procedures Manual / SOP creation, creation & maintenance Escalation Support Project Management for new implementations or projects Leading & Participating in client conference calls Provide timely customer service, internally & externally Maintenance of on-site records, as needed Collaboration with other teams internally Business development support Keeping up to date on industry expertise, trade publications & updates Assist in training, internal & external Occasional travel for training & meetings (domestic) and problem resolution, as needed Manage and execute project tasks that are specifically assigned Develop and/or maintain a strong understanding of different operating systems/ERPs to become a subject matter expert What you will bring.
Comprehensive FTZ expertise, with a minimum 3 years of FTZ operations experience Customs brokerage & compliance expertise, with a minimum of 3 years in Customs Brokerage Strong leadership abilities, with a minimum 3 years in a management role Bachelor's degree or equivalent Customs Brokerage License Comfortability in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
) Experience in Integration Point / Thomson Reuters OneSource, or other zone software Ability to review and analyze large sets of data, with support and training Positive attitude Excellent attention to detail Strong communication skills, both written and oral - this role will be customer-facing Strong time management and deadline management Must pass a federal background check Benefits include:
