Program Support Assistant (DEU-MW)

Assists in collecting of program data relating to administrative program priorities and program goals.Assists with special projects as assigned. Utilizes basic knowledge of Reclamation programs, regulations, operating procedures, organizational reporting levels, and priorities and preferences of Division Manager. Prepares records for entry into automated system and prepares records for archives. Assist others in the development of methods and procedures to improve the administrative management of activities within the division. GS-05:
To qualify for the GS-05 level, your resume must reflect successful completion of 4 years above high school -OR- 1 year of full time specialized experience as defined below equivalent to at least the GS-04 level in Federal Service -OR- a combination of education and experience. Specialized Experience for GS-05:
Specialized experience includes but is not limited to:
interacting with customers and staff, gathering data, establishing and maintaining an efficient filing system, using automated data processing equipment to generate a variety of reports, and establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
